I will not hide the fact that I’m a fan of Moshi products, but that can be good and bad. Good, in that I’m always enthused about testing their latest products. Bad, in that I approach these reviews with a high level of expectations. If I can cut to the chase here, the iGlaze 4 met those expectations. In fact,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it exceeded them in all but one area.

iGlaze 4 is a tremendously slim shell for your iPhone. It’s a hard shell, but it has just enough twist to it to allow for easy application and removal. The case snaps around the edges of your iPhone, leaving open areas for the mute and volume buttons, as well as the top and bottom. You can certainly dock your iPhone in most accessories while the iPhone is in the iGlaze 4, but because it’s so easy to remove, it won’t be a big deal if you can’t.

In addition, the slim profile of the case and the wide camera cutout means you won’t be having any of the flash issues that were reported with some early case designs.

The only thing I don’t like about the design is the round cutout on the back for the iPhone’s Apple logo. I get why Moshi did this,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but I like to use cases over a skin, and that just looked weird with the iGlaze 4’s Apple hole. In fact, I’m not sure I like the look even without a skin on any color of the iGlaze other than black.

Also note that Moshi includes an adhesive film for the back of your iPhone to serve as a buffer between the phone and the case.

The iGlaze 4 offers good protection from scratches,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but it likely won’t do much if you drop it when compared to leather or silicone cases.

What really sells me on the iGlaze 4, then, is the look. The “dual-tone coating” has a kind of metallic sheen to it that’s quite striking. It’s sharp enough to solicit compliments from my coworkers, and they’ve grown quite immune to the iPhone cases I test. Even the feel to it is quite nice; smooth and comfortable. The iGlaze 4 is available in graphite black, pearl white, cranberry red, tyrian purple and arctic silver.

I really like the iGlaze 4. If you don’t mind the minimal protection it offers and have no problem with the Apple logo peeking out the back, this is one slick looking and perfectly fitted case. If Apple released the iPhone in colors, this is what it would look like.
